This post will collect the Yahoo Pipes I've made. I won't explain what they are just yet; I'll only say that they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Why might you need this? So far, there is one useful pipe.
An iXBT forum thread as an RSS feed (ixbt forum thread rss).
An incredibly useful pipe that lets you subscribe to any iXBT forum thread (in theory) via RSS. In Google Reader, for example. If you don't want to keep visiting the forum and searching each thread for where the latest post was, this is for you. If there are lots of threads, checking them manually is a real chore—and this is where RSS and my magical pipe-building skills come to the rescue.
How do you use the pipe? Open the desired thread on iXBT. Click "Printable Version," wait for it to open, and copy the link from the address bar. Open the pipe page and enter the link. Click Run Pipe, then click More Options - Get As RSS. Five seconds of work, and a world of enjoyment.
If it stops working, let me know and I'll try to fix it. Provided the iXBT administrators don't start putting obstacles in my way.
Known pipe bugs:
It can't take you directly to the relevant post when clicked; that's too technically complicated (and perhaps impossible). So it takes you to the page containing the post instead.
